Lucid Electric DIY Kit Storage and battery care?
If the electric kit will not be used for extended periods of time, store the board fully charged for a maximum period of three months. After 3 months, discharge the battery at least 50% and then charge back to full capacity.Store batteries at room temperature between 40-80°F.(4-27°C) Do not expose battery pack to direct sunlight (heat) for extended periods. Store batteries separately from anything hazardous, such as explosives, combustibles, or any other highly flammable material.
How much weight can Lucid DIY Electric Kit handle?
The maximum load capacity is 220 pounds (100kg). Performance will be affected as weight increases and can impact battery life limits for distance and speed and capabilities on inclines.
Can my board be used like a normal skateboard when it's out of power?
Yes, your board will retain the ability to push and ride like a traditional skateboard when the throttle is disengaged and there is no battery.
Can the battery be replaced?
The battery can be replaced and our battery life for our boards is 600 deep cycles. After 600 full cycles, the battery will still work but would only have approximately 70% power and capacity.
